Evangelio según san Marcos 12, 28b-34:

En aquel tiempo, un escriba se acercó a Jesús y le preguntó:
«¿Qué mandamiento es el primero de todos?».
Respondió Jesús:
«El primero es: “Escucha, Israel, el Señor, nuestro Dios, es el único Señor: amarás al Señor, tu Dios, con todo tu corazón, con toda tu alma, con toda tu mente, con todo tu ser”. El segundo es este: “Amarás a tu prójimo como a ti mismo”. No hay mandamiento mayor que estos».
El escriba replicó:
«Muy bien, Maestro, sin duda tienes razón cuando dices que el Señor es uno solo y no hay otro fuera de él; y que amarlo con todo el corazón, con todo el entendimiento y con todo el ser, y amar al prójimo como a uno mismo vale más que todos los holocaustos y sacrificios».
Jesús, viendo que había respondido sensatamente, le dijo:
«No estás lejos del reino de Dios».
Y nadie se atrevió a hacerle más preguntas.

Gospel. S. Mark 12, 28b-34:

One of the scribes came to Jesus and asked him, "Which is the first of all the commandments?"
Jesus replied, "The first is this: 'Hear, O Israel! The Lord our God is Lord alone!
You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.'
The second is this: 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no other commandment greater than these."
The scribe said to him, "Well said, teacher. You are right in saying, 'He is One and there is no other than he.'
And 'to love him with all your heart, with all your understanding, with all your strength, and to love your neighbor as yourself' is worth more than all burnt offerings and sacrifices."
And when Jesus saw that (he) answered with understanding, he said to him, "You are not far from the kingdom of God." And no one dared to ask him any more questions.

Évangile. S. Marc 12, 28b-34:

En ce temps-là, un scribe s’avança pour demander à Jésus : « Quel est le premier de tous les commandements  ? »
Jésus lui fit cette réponse : « Voici le premier : ‘Écoute, Israël : le Seigneur notre Dieu est l’unique Seigneur.
Tu aimeras le Seigneur ton Dieu de tout ton cœur, de toute ton âme, de tout ton esprit et de toute ta force.’
Et voici le second : ‘Tu aimeras ton prochain comme toi-même.’ Il n’y a pas de commandement plus grand que ceux-là. »
Le scribe reprit : « Fort bien, Maître, tu as dit vrai : Dieu est l’Unique et il n’y en a pas d’autre que lui.
L’aimer de tout son cœur, de toute son intelligence, de toute sa force, et aimer son prochain comme soi-même, vaut mieux que toute offrande d’holocaustes et de sacrifices. »
Jésus, voyant qu’il avait fait une remarque judicieuse, lui dit : « Tu n’es pas loin du royaume de Dieu. » Et personne n’osait plus l’interroger.

Evangelie. S. Markus 12, 28b-34:

In die tijd trad een schriftgeleerde op Jezus toe en legde Hem de volgende vraag voor : 'Wat is het allereerste gebod?'
Jezus antwoordde: 'Het eerste is: Hoor, Israel! De Heer onze God is de enige Heer.
Gij zult de Heer uw God beminnen met geheel uw hart, geheel uw ziel, geheel uw verstand en geheel uw kracht.
Het tweede is dit: Gij zult uw naaste beminnen als uzelf. Er is geen ander gebod voorna­mer dan deze twee.'
Toen zei de schriftgeleerde tot Hem: 'Juist, Meester, terecht hebt Ge gezegd:
Hij is de enige en er bestaat geen andere buiten Hem;
en Hem beminnen met heel zijn hart, heel zijn verstand en heel zijn kracht
en de naaste beminnen als zichzelf gaat boven alle brand ‑ en slachtof­fers.'
Omdat Jezus zag dat hij wijs gesproken had, zei Hij hem: 'Gij staat niet ver af
van het Koninkrijk Gods.' En niemand durfde Hem nog een vraag te stellen.

Evangelium. S. Markus 12, 28b-34:

In jener Zeit ging ein Schriftgelehrter zu Jesus hin und fragte ihn: Welches Gebot ist das erste von allen?
Jesus antwortete: Das erste ist: Höre, Israel, der Herr, unser Gott, ist der einzige Herr.
Darum sollst du den Herrn, deinen Gott, lieben mit ganzem Herzen und ganzer Seele, mit deinem ganzen Denken und mit deiner ganzen Kraft.
Als zweites kommt hinzu: Du sollst deinen Nächsten lieben wie dich selbst. Kein anderes Gebot ist größer als diese beiden.
Da sagte der Schriftgelehrte zu ihm: Sehr gut, Meister! Ganz richtig hast du gesagt: Er allein ist der Herr und es gibt keinen anderen außer ihm
und ihn mit ganzem Herzen, ganzem Verstand und ganzer Kraft zu lieben und den Nächsten zu lieben wie sich selbst, ist weit mehr als alle Brandopfer und anderen Opfer.
Jesus sah, dass er mit Verständnis geantwortet hatte, und sagte zu ihm: Du bist nicht fern vom Reich Gottes. Und keiner wagte mehr, Jesus eine Frage zu stellen.
