Evangelio según san Juan 20, 1-9

El primer día de la semana, María la Magdalena fue al sepulcro al amanecer, cuando aún estaba oscuro, y vio la losa quitada del sepulcro.

Echó a correr y fue donde estaban Simón Pedro y el otro discípulo, a quien Jesús amaba, y les dijo:
«Se han llevado del sepulcro al Señor y no sabemos dónde lo han puesto».

Salieron Pedro y el otro discípulo camino del sepulcro. Los dos corrían juntos, pero el otro discípulo corría más que Pedro; se adelantó y llegó primero al sepulcro; e, inclinándose, vio los lienzos tendidos; pero no entró.

Llegó también Simón Pedro detrás de él y entró en el sepulcro: vio los lienzos tendidos y el sudario con que le habían cubierto la cabeza, no con los lienzos, sino enrollado en un sitio aparte.

Entonces entró también el otro discípulo, el que había llegado primero al sepulcro; vio y creyó.

Pues hasta entonces no habían entendido la Escritura: que él había de resucitar de entre los muertos.

Gospel. S. John 20, 1-9

On the first day of the week, Mary of Magdala came to the tomb early in the morning, while it was still dark, and saw the stone removed from the tomb.
So she ran and went to Simon Peter and to the other disciple whom Jesus loved, and told them, "They have taken the Lord from the tomb, and we don't know where they put him."
So Peter and the other disciple went out and came to the tomb.
They both ran, but the other disciple ran faster than Peter and arrived at the tomb first;
he bent down and saw the burial cloths there, but did not go in.
When Simon Peter arrived after him, he went into the tomb and saw the burial cloths there,
and the cloth that had covered his head, not with the burial cloths but rolled up in a separate place.
Then the other disciple also went in, the one who had arrived at the tomb first, and he saw and believed.
For they did not yet understand the scripture that he had to rise from the dead.

Évangile. S. Jean 20, 1-9

Le premier jour de la semaine, Marie Madeleine se rend au tombeau de grand matin ; c’était encore les ténèbres. Elle s’aperçoit que la pierre a été enlevée du tombeau.
Elle court donc trouver Simon-Pierre et l’autre disciple, celui que Jésus aimait, et elle leur dit : « On a enlevé le Seigneur de son tombeau, et nous ne savons pas où on l’a déposé. »
Pierre partit donc avec l’autre disciple pour se rendre au tombeau.
Ils couraient tous les deux ensemble, mais l’autre disciple courut plus vite que Pierre et arriva le premier au tombeau.
En se penchant, il s’aperçoit que les linges sont posés à plat ; cependant il n’entre pas.
Simon-Pierre, qui le suivait, arrive à son tour. Il entre dans le tombeau ; il aperçoit les linges, posés à plat,
ainsi que le suaire qui avait entouré la tête de Jésus, non pas posé avec les linges, mais roulé à part à sa place.
C’est alors qu’entra l’autre disciple, lui qui était arrivé le premier au tombeau. Il vit, et il crut.
Jusque-là, en effet, les disciples n’avaient pas compris que, selon l’Écriture, il fallait que Jésus ressuscite d’entre les morts.

Op de eerste dag van de week kwam Maria Magdalena, vroeg in de morgen ‑ het was nog donker ‑ bij het graf en zag dat de steen van het graf was weggerold.
Zij liep snel naar Simon Petrus en naar de andere, de door Jezus beminde leerling, en zei tot hen: 'Ze hebben de Heer uit het graf genomen en wij weten niet waar ze Hem hebben neergelegd.'
Daarop gingen Petrus en de andere leerling op weg naar het graf.
Ze liepen samen vlug voort, maar die andere leerling snelde Petrus vooruit en kwam het eerst bij het graf aan.
Vooroverbukkend zag hij de zwachtels liggen, maar hij ging niet naar binnen.
Simon Petrus die hem volgde, kwam ook bij het graf en trad wel binnen. Hij zag dat de zwachtels er lagen,
maar dat de zweetdoek die zijn hoofd had bedekt, niet bij de zwachtels lag, maar ergens afzonderlijk opgerold op een andere plaats.
Toen pas ging ook de andere leerling die het eerst bij het graf was aangekomen, naar binnen; hij zag en geloofde,
want zij hadden nog niet begrepen hetgeen er geschreven stond, dat Hij namelijk uit de doden moest opstaan.

Evangelium. S. Johannes 20, 1-9

Am ersten Tag der Woche kam Maria von Magdala frühmorgens, als es noch dunkel war, zum Grab und sah, dass der Stein vom Grab weggenommen war.
Da lief sie schnell zu Simon Petrus und dem anderen Jünger, den Jesus liebte, und sagte zu ihnen: Sie haben den Herrn aus dem Grab weggenommen und wir wissen nicht, wohin sie ihn gelegt haben.
Da gingen Petrus und der andere Jünger hinaus und kamen zum Grab;
sie liefen beide zusammen, aber weil der andere Jünger schneller war als Petrus, kam er als Erster ans Grab.
Er beugte sich vor und sah die Leinenbinden liegen, ging jedoch nicht hinein.
Da kam auch Simon Petrus, der ihm gefolgt war, und ging in das Grab hinein. Er sah die Leinenbinden liegen
und das Schweißtuch, das auf dem Haupt Jesu gelegen hatte; es lag aber nicht bei den Leinenbinden, sondern zusammengebunden daneben an einer besonderen Stelle.
Da ging auch der andere Jünger, der als Erster an das Grab gekommen war, hinein; er sah und glaubte.
Denn sie hatten noch nicht die Schrift verstanden, dass er von den Toten auferstehen müsse.
